[Carriers](Carrier) provide a +3 bonus to agility for fighters, but what this really does is make it so that the fighters always enter combat unspotted. The carrier bonus is just making use of the unspotted bonus.
Carriers with loaded units that can fight in space will always have that +3 unspotted bonus.
Whenever you load a unit, in space, onto a carrier and unload it again, it is now unspotted. This means you can use a single transport and cycle each and every space-capable unit through that single transport. For subsequent rounds, simply load the non-routed fighters on and off the transports to regain the unspotted bonus.
The caveat is that this only works when it is your turn. If you wish to defend with unspotted fighters (defending outside of your turn), then you need to make use of proper carriers to reliably receive the unspotted bonus.
